So I Picked Up A Couple Of New XBOX360 Games.....

One is Dirt2. If your even remotely into/interested in racing games, i highly reccomend this game. The types of racing included are - Rally, Rally Cross, Trail Blazer, Land Rush, Raid & a few others that slip my mind at the moment. The graphics are simply stunning and i dont have an HD TV. I could only imagine how good it would look on a flat screen 1080. The in game physics are very life-like. Its just like driving a real car. The game car reacts just as you would expect it to under similar circumstances if the situation were "live". The game menus and scenes in between the races really stand out and take this game above and beyond what is expected in a "normal game" to the next level. All in all id give it a 5 outta 5 star rating, best racing game i have ever played, hands down.

The other is IL-2 Sturmovik. This game took me for a loop because i had no idea that a serious wargame was comming out on the XBOX. The flight mechanics are spot on and the sound effects and graphics are great as well. Im just beginning this game so i dont know a whole lot about it yet, but what ive seen so far i like. I just finished the Battle of Britian scenarios and had a blast blowing HE-111's & JU-87's outta the sky! I must say i prefer the Hawker Hurricane to the Spitfire. Tougher, and has more Firepower.

Now im counting down the days to the release of Left For Dead 2!

Not a wimp, just shoved off the PC. The old lady has it full of graphic programs so she can do work at home on the weekends.

I like the Forza motorsports game(s) I have Forza2 and the 3rd is coming out next week.
They are excellent racing games very easy learning curve and the "Aids"
make it fun and easy pretty quickly.
I also have project gotham and test drive unlimited which lets you drive like a
maniac on the street. It has Hawaii's big island(I think) as a playground.

When you get online you should also look into NHL 10 by EA
Great hockey game series that gets better each year.

Im still unable to re-master the shooters as I flail around like a fish out of water trying to control my guy

I have and play Forza2. Its a great game. Was my favorite racing game til i played Dirt2.

I dont see me ever getting on XBOX Live. Its not that i cant afford it, Its only like $25 a year, right? Its the principal behind it. I dropped almost $400 on the system and controllers when it came out, not to mention having to buy a game too cause it didnt come with one. Then when a game comes out you want thats $60. And to top it off they want money to play online too? No way. No wonder Bill Gates has half the money in the world. Nintendo & Sony are free, why cant Microsoft be free? :dontknow:

Playing online on Xbox is the best thing about the whole system. Great chat function, great gaming stability.

Steve and I have played probably close to a 1000 games counting Madden and NHL.

Without the online function, I wouldn't use it.
