From this morning's Austin paper:
A man was arrested after leading Travis County deputy sheriffs on an auto chase on I-35 from north Austin to San Marcos (where Texas State is located). "Lee Standberry, 40, was charged with a felony account of evading arrest in conjunction with the October 9 pursuit, at the end of which he sustained a snake bite while fleeing on foot...The suspect drove the car into the grass at the side of the highway."
Puts those SoCal car chases to shame!
