I have been mostly just playing NHL08 for x-box 360
I do have COD4 for the pc and actually finished the single player game
but havent played online with it.
I have been toying with Dawn of War on occasion also

COD 4 seems to be a common one - so what is the scoop on that game? I may also get back to strategy games too.

I have most of the part minus the vid card for my LONG over due PC. Building a mid-range PC base on an E8400 - 4GB RAM - DFI board since I will OC it... I think i will go for an 8800 GTS card for the video.

Been playing the Insurgency Mod for HL2 , they just came out with a brand new update 2.1 but it has a few bugs they need to fix... they did make the models better although they super powered the American weapons a bit too much... they make the Russian weapons less accurate which I think is complete bull! but whatever....

It's a fun Mod about 688MB in size, and what I like a lot is that there are no crosshairs only iron sights for all the weapons except for the sniper rifles...

When they get a few quick updates to the game it will be more fun!

They made the Russian weapons less acurate because Arab boys can't shoot straight -- maybe there is a God afterall.

I used to play Ghost Recon with the son on the XBox when he still lived here. Not sure if I just never played enough to get the reflexes needed or if I was just too old to have the reflexes. Now days I just stick to the HPS games, WiTP, AGEOD's AACW, and Gary Grigsby's War Between the States, which I can proudly say I was on the playtest team.

Can't say I agree with his review much. First off I'm able to play the game on Vista right out of the box. Key is having enough RAM to run it without using the compatibility mode and that only takes 1Gb. Some of his bug problems I haven't seen and I've been playing/testing for over a year. Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Don't play too many FPS with my old rigg. Just old ones like the Delta Force games and Operation Flashpoint.
