I will return to baseball once the Pirates are over .500 for an entire week at any point past June 1st. I figure that will be around 2015 as the Pirates are now entering their 16th straight season with a record below .500.

Hey, if the Pee-rats had some pitching, they'd be pretty decent. Things are looking up for them, they put Ian Snell (no relation) on the dl. That guy is pitiful. And some of their young lefties, Maholm and Duke, are looking better and better.
What Pittsberg really needs is better management. The Rays and Twins are proving (once again) that a huge payroll isn't neccessary to be competitive. Put Ben Sheets on the Pirates and they are almost as good as the Brewers are now.
