In short, the early word from wargamers seems to be:
1. Frequent technical problems that make playing problematic to impossible. I suspect that most of these will be resolved over time.
2. Mixed reviews on the game with a slight tilt to the negative. Patches will probably improve things. But it seems clear that CMSF is not the second coming of CMBO. Maybe it was good that Battlefront released its first CM X 2 game on such an unusual topic. Perhaps the games will be much improved by the time Battlefront gets around to a subject of interest to most of us.
