Three cool new games to keep an eye on:

Tide of Iron -- a game similar in look to Memoir 44 except on a somewhat bigger scale I think. The production values look very high for this, and Fantasy Flight Games is known for putting out top notch products:

Colosseum -- by Days of Wonder -- a game similar to the Tycoon computer games except in board fashion where you compete to stage the grandest events in ancient Rome:

Battlelore -- also produced by Days of Wonder -- this adopts the Memoir 44 system to the fantasy world:

I think I'm going to pre-order Tide of Iron. The Fantasy Flight website has some great previews of the different units and the gameplay mechanics for the game. Best of all, you can download the rulebook for free. It looks a lot like ASL-lite with miniatures.
