I was wondering if you KG men wiould be up for another 'clan war' with us boys at FGM.
(Note the subtle use of boys v men to lure you in.)
Nothing to complicated. Man-o-man stuff.
If i get some response I'll take look at knocking together a plan.

Depending on the arrangement, I might be convinced to join up.

I look forward to another "go" with FGM. Given our "workload" in our own Tournament and some monster tournament games we are playing at SZO (now called XtremeGamer :argh:), we will probably be looking to get such a melee started in the late November to January time frame.
Let me and/or KG_Cloghaun know what you have in mind for such a tilt!

I liked the way it was done last time, but i say this time we do the battle and we do the map. Its only fair, 2 vrs. 2. I volunteer to do the map and i also volunteer to be the first member of the team fight in this contest. :salute[1]: The last game was CMBB i opt for CMAK so i can use American Engineers! LOL.

The general concensus at our end is we'd rather play one v one, man-o-man.
I personally think its a lot less hassle and easier to manage, and we can get it done much quicker.
And panzerschreck, it didn't come across as pushy. All suggestions welcome.
CMAK would be a good idea. You guys draw up a map and we'll decide the perameters. (a reverse of last time.)

1v1 is my only doable format.

OK. so i think one v one is the best way forward. (but thats not the end of it. anyone feel free to chip in.)
See how many of you guys you can muster over the next week, get a map sorted, and well take it from there I think.

It's because Rob doesn't work well with others that he cant play Multi-player games. Sad, he's such a good player, but only as commander. He's not just a little grunt like me. ;)

Before i start in on a map, Shouldnt we decide on CMAK or CMBB and point size for the battle? Two very critical issues when constructing a map, lol. Also, do your boys have any no nos when it comes to maps like no urban fighting ect. or is it totally up to us? Also you need to get with KG_Jag, i belive he is heading up this project from our end.

I just have never been very good at playing with others...
I simply cannot commit to a large multi-player endeavour as my life and schedule just cannot accomodate it. I don't want to be the reason a MP game is held up or has to fold providing a bad experience for the other players. I have had to do this on two previous MP games and I won't do it to my teammates again.

Ah, come on Rob, if we put you in charge of a four vs four team and let you be in charge of strategy and plotting for the other three members of your team, you'd jump all over it. ;)

I haven't got the email address of KG_Jag.
So if you could drop me an email at 'mryormsha(at)hotmail.co.uk' that would be great.
As for a map, last time we played a 3000/5000 pointer. so i guess something similar would be good. And I tried to base the map on a sort of semi historical scenario. (The germans were falling back to a bridge that the Russian armoured spearheads were also racing towards. late '44.)
so if you guys could think up another historical base for a map, that would be great.
