Team Tourney

What do you think about KG throw their hat in the ring in a Team Tourney over at Battlefront? Frankly I don't think there isn't one person over there we can't pulverise. As a team we would dominate all comers.

Great! Shreck is down for the CMBB CM:C tourney and Soldier just volunteered for the Shock Force Tourney. Such a good sport!

How exactly does the "team tourney" work? I didn't get an explaination anywhere at BF. Is it multiplay?

Let's see...

1. CMC is not out yet and we know (or think we know) only the basics about it.

2. It is said CMC will be released this year, but Battlefront in notoriously late in releasing their games. Further CMC appears to be the project of a group of guys that have kept their day jobs and are doing this as a labor love for a very limited segment of a niche game.

3. We know nothing about the tournament rules or parameters.

4. We do not know the time commitment, either per day/week or in terms of the tournament's duration (it could be years).

Seems to me that we should not make an open ended commitment of any kind concerning what might be and at an unknown date. Instead let's watch how things develop. We should make a decision only when we know much more, and at a time when we can ascertain the level of our individual and group commitment.

Naturally we have to have the game in hand, a good idea how to play, tourney rules, etc. All things being equal, is it something you might want to consider looking into?

I am interested, but would like more interest in how the tournament works. There have been ROW tourneys before, Rob. Do you know anything about the previous ones?
