Welcome everyone! My name is Frank Champine, aka KG_Cloghaun, head of Kampfgruppe, a war gaming clan since 1998.
Kampfgruppe has always prided itself as being the finest war gaming clan on the internet.
It is my hope that Kampfgruppe will be able to give back what we have taken so much from over these past 8 years, by providing an enlightning & expansive experience for the everyday Grognard. KG is now allowing open registration on it's forums. They are free for you to enjoy.
Please read the the forum rules & guidelines. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Some information for you about KG-
First of all, Kampfgruppe is a non-political club. We do not support or endorse any ideology. We simply have an interest in the German military of WW2, hence the name, "Kampfgruppe". This war gaming clan began in 1998 as a "Close Combat" clan (club). In mid-2001, in order to preserve our group, we branched out to become a war gamer club in general. Today, we officially sponsor the following games: Close Combat, WW2 FPS games (such as CODII. BF42 & DoD), and Combat Mission. Lately, many in our group have been playing Lock 'n Load: Band of Heroes, Rome: Total War & Highway to the Reich. We have 62 members, 32 are active and 28 are considered inactive/retired. In addition to this site & our forums, both public & private, we also run a private Teamspeak server.
Our members hail from all over the world, but most are from the USA. We have members in Russia, Great Britain and 2 from Canada. Age range is from 16 to 54 with most in the "30 something" area. We come from all walks of life. We have 3 members who are lawyers, business men, a mix of blue & white collar with several ex-military. We have had 2 members deployed in Iraq with the US Army, and one member deployed in Iraq with the U.S. Air Force. The tie that binds our group is friendship and a love for military history.
Many of us play Combat mission and look for new and interesting ways to play the game. A few of us have designed club tournaments, individual battles, operations, multi-play & even a campaign. Some enjoy TCP/IP & some enjoy historical scenarios. There's basically something for everyone. Check out our downloads section for user made scenarios and other treasures for Combat Mission and Close Combat!
Again, welcome everyone!
