Forget the hype, seriously speaking, your the GM and you have a decision to make, Between Vince Young or Matt Leinart. who do you choose to run your offense in the NFL...

Tough call. It depends on how conservative my organization is. Leinhart is the conservative pick but I don't think he'll be as good as Palmer and he lacks arm-strength according to the prognosticators. In fact, I think he might just be a mediocre pro-QB. Just a hunch but I'm wrong a lot -- I thought Ryan Leaf was a better draft pick than Peyton when they got drafted!

I take the risk on Young and gamble that his passing efficiency rating from college translates into the pros and that his athleticism makes up for his current failings as a traditional pocket passer.

Niether, id take the Kid from Vandy, Im ttaking the same risks as you guys are on the above mentioned QB's and i wont be spending an arm and leg either, plus i think he's gonna be something special someday.

My choice between the two is Matt becuase he's been running a NFL Pro offense for the last 2 plus years and who's adjustment won't be neraly as long as Youngs. He's much more of a pocket passer who can run if he has to .

The question is, who wants to adjust their offense to effectively use Young's style? Whoever it is, they'll be happy. I hope. I still think Young (like L. Taylor did to defense) will change the way offense plays football. Texas' receivers were at best average. Young with gifted receivers might just be unstoppable.
