They are the worst! My home is 99 years old and we seem to have a plumbing problem once a year. Our plumber knows us well!

Thanks for taking the time to voice your support. It is always appreciated. Turns have slowly started to go out. But this has been a pretty crappy week. Thankfully we are all well and for the most part despite the unexpected expenses and headaches...Christmas will go on.

It never ceases to amaze me the crap that gets slung at people at inoppertune times. The other day my brothers furnace crapped out on him while he was at work and his pipes burst and trashed his basement and ruined most of his kids Christmas presents. Thank goodness he has money and can afford to replace eveything.

Geeze...I am thankful that for the most part I have always been able to keep in mind that it could have been worse...

And your brothers problem sounds much worse then ours. Essentially our master bedroom toilet overflowed and sat for hours. Seeping into the wall and down into our downstairs bathroom directly below it. The water was ruined our carpet in the bedroom and down the hall.

Luckily our insuarance deductible isn't too much but who wants to spend any more money at christmas? That and now that song n dance to get things put back together.

So while it has been added stress all in all it wasn't too bad...but then who needs the added stress eh? :argh:

Lucky for us none of the presents were ruined and our house is habitable until it gets fixed.
