The best fried chicken i ever had was when i lived in Deleware. An old African-American woman {who grew up in Georgia i was told} who looked like she was 120 years old made it and after i ate it i knew i could now die, my life was complete. It came with all the fixin's, Biscuts and gravy and greens. I would of married that woman in a second if she would of cooked me that meal once a week.

Fried chicken from the southeast is usually outstanding. Nevertheless the best fired chicken I've ever had came from the small town and farm women of south central Illinois. In fact I just had some about 10 days ago. My Grandmother's was the very best of them all.

There are chickens that far north? WOW, I'm amazed, or is the fried chicken just good cause it's easy to keep 'em frozen?

Mark it sounds as though you and the chickens were all in the shed when you typed your post!

Yes Noggs, I too believe the legend that it actually snowed south of Austin once millions of years ago. Many don't believe, but I have "blind faith" that it actually happened.
