I will actually spend some time this evening visiting with a Pearl Harbor veteran at the Veterans Home that I volunteer at. He was in the 24th Infantry Division which was stationed at Pearl. He fired at Zeros from the roof of his barracks with a water cooled MG during the morning of the attack.

I think its high time that the Japanese acually admit to attacking us in the first place. They whine enough about Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but they still dont teach their students proper history.

Neither do the Germans. My Norwegian relatives complain all the time that the German exchange students don't even know that Germany occupied Norway for 4 years and had over 300,000 troops there. The Germans just bury it as if it didn't happen -- Avalon Hill couldn't even ship the old ASL rulebook into Germany because one of the 4 pictures one of the cover was of a German SS field officer with the death's head on his color.
