I just DL'd this and it is frickin sweet. VASSAL was painless to install and the user tutorial at the VASSAL site was straightforward. The BOH counters look wonderful in cyber land.

John and I hooked up on Vassal and set up and played around with some of the LnL counters, very cool. Next weekend we will try to kill each other. I should say John will kill me! :)
P.S. I threw in the Tiger just for Frank and Kent!

First off -- I'm a tech idiot. Second, VASSAL is idiot proof. I installed it no problem. I then DL'd the zip file for BOH from LNL website. Unzipped the file and put the folders in the right spot and bam, I can play Lock N Load online. It is a beautiful cyber game. Soldier and I tested it out. We placed pieces and once we synced up on the VASSAL server, we could watch each other move pieces, place counters, roll dice etc. It has a chat utility but with TS you don't need it much.

I also downloaded VASL -- the VASSAL version of ASL and it's great as well.

Schreck, you should DL VASSAL and the LNL module. Plus, there is a free PDF demo version of the game which comes with counters, board, and full rules. It's really a great freebie.

VASSAL will let you play any game solitaire -- basically, if you have the rules, VASSAL provides counters and boards -- and no more finding a place to store the game for weeks on end. There is even a PBEM feature -- a game log. Probably works better for turn based games, but it could work for games like ASL or LNL.
