Those are some very cool skins.... They are not server side skins right?

No you see whatever skins you have chosen regardless of the server.

Yes, all of the skin packs I have tried come with a readme file... Which also explains where to put the skin files.

I have a number of different uniform options that I can use now.

the files I got didnt say where they go.

The files will be in .vtf or .vmt format they need to go in these folders for their respective side "...day of defeat source/dod/materials/models/player/american" and "...day of defeat source/dod/materials/models/player/german"

Put only the files for the uniform you want in the folder put the ones you are not using somewhere else.
