According to a post at Battlefront, it should roll out next week.

GJK, through a post at the Battlefront forum tells us that it should be ready around the first of the new year (2006). Here's his short post:

"I'm going through some final testing now. Unless something comes up, I should have the site live by new years - New Years day release perhaps."

It appears that things are on schedule. This is a post just made by GJK over at the Proving Grounds:

"Folks,

I hope to unveil the new Scenario Depot II over the weekend - announcement forthcoming right here and at BFC.

Need some suggestions for the online poll for over there - what would you like to ask of your fellow CM players relating to the game?

If I get a couple of good suggestions, I'll probably archive this poll and put one of those suggestions up here.

It appears that I have to reregister. Anyone else have that trouble?

It also appears that they didn't transfer the original database. Are they counting on everyone uploading their scenarios again?

The answer is no--at least in the short term. Here's GJK's response to my offer posted at the Battlefront forum to send them any old scenarios that they were missing (assuming that they planned to recapture the data base from the original Scenario Depot):

"KG_Jag: What we have is a clean slate for uploading scenarios. I was not given the databases that Adm. Keith had for the old site, and so I have no data for any of the old scenarios. Since all the parameters for the scenarios must be present in the database, just uploading the scenario files does no good (better off zipping and uploading those to CMMODS). So, it will be a big ole' community project to repopulate TSDII with old and new scenarios."
