It's called Sie Kommen... (they're coming...). It will include battles of an alternative D-Day invasion; mods that plug into the battles; commander's maps and more. Here are the links:

Would someone please explain what ETO is and how it works exactly? I thought you could only mod skins in CM.

ETO is a package of mods for CMAK. It just changes the look from Italian front vehicles, uniforms, terrain, etc. to those of the Eastern European front.
In fact I don't think that you will "need" the ETO mod package. As I understand it, all mods will be provided. You apply them to CAMK (or the ETO or Normandy modded games--if you have them) with the McMMM mod manger.
Nevertheless here are links to the ETO mod set:

You mean "western european front", right?
This looks incredible. We need to have a discussion about this asap. I smell a new MP game for KG. I assume they are historical scenarios strung together giving us the ability to play one after the other, in linear fashion. We could pick out teams and go through all of them and play out the Normandy battles or whatever they are offering.

Sorry--what I meant is the NW European Theater of Operations from Normandy into Germany.
I'm not sure about the uniforms, vehicle camos and terrain of southern France. I guess that could be the next mod package.
I already have the full ETO and Normandy stand alone modded CMAK games on both my lap and desk tops. I also have both hooked up to MCMMM for additional tweaking. The hardrive space saving option is to have just one CMAK and move mods and mod sets (something I haven't quite figured out yet) in and out of CMAK, using McMMM.

you could forseeably do that, but to do it right, you would need to rename the zipfile for the mini mod. for example, if say the zip for one of the mods was - PZIVHCamo.zip, you could rename it - PZIVHCamo{MM}.zip. then you would know that all the zip files in your mods folder that have the {MM} tag on the end of it are for this mini mod only. sound like a good idea? the same thing could be done with the ETO mod, just add a {ETO} on the end. so on and so forth.

Hummmmm, I originally wasn't really interested in this, but the idea of it being played as a multi player grand campain has my attention. Keep talking, I'm on board if it is going to be a clan deal. I haven't done much with modding as it cuts into my already tight playing time and I'm satisfied with the original graphics. And as in our MP game "lost Victories", graphics on a burning german tank doesn't add to much to the game anyway, as long as its burning......... :P

Pat the modding is both easy and fast. After all, even I can do it! In fact I put both the ETO and Normandy mods on my new computer in just a couple hours in the evening earlier this week. That process included not only the two mods, but also hooking them up to my McMMM mod manager. You just need the extra hard drive space to have a second (or third) CMAK installed.

the graphics do look good, I already have MCMMM on the desktop, nothing it it though. If enough people show an intrest, I'll do it for sure. Thor, does it interest you as far as setting up a campain? I might have to up grade my 386 machine to run something as new fangled as this......

Since both ETO and Normandy are designed to be stand alone seperate installs of CMAK (in their own folders within your program files), you don't need McMMM to play them. However, McMMM will give them (along with CMBO, CMBB & CMAK--or any basket of these that you choose) greater depth and choices with regard to how you game(s) will look.
For example if you want all your German vehicles to have a certain camo pattern for a game you are playing in CMBB, you can select them from your available mods and install them. When you finish that game, you can then uninstall them with a few clicks of the mouse, choosing to either go back to your default texture or by installing another set of mods.

Hi and thanks for your question
It has been mostly tested and created for H2H play so yes most definetly play against your favourite opponent. Some battles might be less balanced but the scores book will give the battles an even feel. As the outcome of all battles will move you to different battles depending on the outcome. So even if you loose one badly might put you into tight position in the next fight but making out alive will buy your time to move into a battle where things might look different from your perspective. So giving up is never an option the idea was to make a campaign that will have good replayability as playing ti second time through you might end up playing all different battles. Changing sides wil also change the feel to it. Against ai it is mostly balanced allied v ai if you give the ai some CEB. Same rules apply. The outcome of the whole campaign will vary depending on the outcome of single battles.
Thanks for your question. Looking forward to see more questions in here and the Sie Kommen Forum.
Cheers!

Thanks for you Question TC_Stele. The 18 scenarios have all been extensively playtested H2H and also Allies vs AI. In the rule book there is a table that will give you proposed AI 'experience bonus' rating if you want to play against the AI.
Also the overall 'points schedule' is based upon a matrix of all the battles. So if one beats ones competitor in say battle 2 (Hell at Waldam Beach) with an allied tactical victory, you can look at this table and determine the overall pts garnered for the allied side. Now remember there is instructions and tables to play 5, 12, and 18 battle game sets. Thus some battle are weighted pro allied, some pro axis, but a lot of time and effort went into the development, so in theory you could win the main battle (with a Total or Major Victory) of a 5 battle game and lose the other four and still gain a draw or some kind of minor victory.
A little more on the 18 battles. There is actually 8 Maps that these scenarios are designed on. And each scenarios occurs on 'cropped' out sections of these maps... So you could potentially play 2 scenarios in say 'the 12 game plan' on the same map (with overlap, etc).
All the scenarios are done, I still have some minor work on the Field Orders, Commander Maps, and a new idea that occured over the weekend 'Radio Transmissions'...
The Mod Packs are all put together except for the Vehicles (as all these great modders keep creating new ones each passing day... makes me a busy boy...) And all credits are posted at the Sie Kommen Website
We also have a forum for discussions on the Overall Game pack and the individual scenarios.
So next Monday we will toss it out there and let y'all get at it.
That is all...

Another update today--here it is:
"Posted by Fredrock1957 (Member # 13045) on November 01, 2005 08:23 AM:
Hey Gibsonm... your correct in nothing being 'platform specific' all that you would need is Acrobat Reader as the Rule Book, a Links Reference File, and the Field Orders and Commander Maps are in Portable Document Format.
The Terrain Mods and Uniform Mods are real close to the wonderful packages that David I put together, so if you have CMETO with the Normandy Terrain you could use that and you wouldnt see much difference. The Vehicle Mods are just all the ETO mods out there put into two overall zip files. There are some special mods for certain battles that cover beaches, large bunkers, command posts, fort walls, etc. that are really Sie Kommen specific and will be identified and available for download at the website, along with all the other mod packages. I have been using a clean install for testing and with McMMM it is a snap to go in and out of what needs to be done, I am even working up the 'Mod Sets' options that GreenAsJade had embedded in the latest release of McMMM, not sure if they will be done for monday's release but they should follow shortly.

The Sie Kommen Battle Pack for CMAK is now available for download at the Sie Kommen Website.

There is a complete set of rules to play the Sie Kommen Battle Pack in a multitude of ways including 5 game, 12 game, all 18 games, and a couple of 3-packs. Rules for AI play are included too. There is a Points Scoring Matrix table for each of the different ways the game can be played that uses formulas to determine the points earned for each scenario based upon the overall campaign.
Also included is links to Field Order Files which go beyond the briefings found in the battle and include such things as written orders, commander maps, aerial recon photos, and even radio (voice) transmissions.
There is a complete set of mods of which almost all where put together by the great modders in the community. I believe I got all of you on the recognition list and thank you guys for the work. There is a Main Mod Pack that includes terrain, uniforms, weapons, etc.. two vehicle mod packs (one allied and one axis) and special mod packs for 4 of the scenarios (beach landings, special bunkers, etc). All work with the Mod Program McMMM and we will be releasing ‘Mod Set’ files in the near future, this will let you load all the appropriate mods for each battle with a single click.
Many hours of effort went into Sie Kommen but I am sure there are still a few ‘bugs’ or items that might need a quick fix. We have created a forum ( Right Here ), that you can go to, to discuss, provide feedback, ask questions, etc about the battle pack. You input will be appreciated.
I would personally like to thank the following great people, cause without them this project would never have come to fruition.
Robert A. (FIGO) …
Timo H. (Larry Thorne)…
Fredrik W. (General Failure)…
Dean R. (Smashing)…
And
Bob M. (British Tommy)
For all there support, also all the playtesters, modders, etc.
Please Enjoy….

Hey GaJ ... to answer your question... yes...
Some battles are pro allied, some pro axis, and some are as even as we can make them... and all that is based upon the overall scheme of things within the battle pack (and is reflected in the Points-Victory Schedule). Also items like the Field Orders on certain battles, can give a unit commander some insight (if used properly) to assist in his completion of his mission (and this works for both sides)
example... "Hell at Waldam Beach" is the main landings for the battle pack... Now the allies have a slight advantage (if you use arty properly - or else who knows)... but if the allies lose this battle (say in a 12 game version)... they will end up playing in some battles that were weighted for the axis... another words, the landings went bad so even if the 82nd AB has taken the three bridges, they wont get relief from the beachhead and therefore must fight off an axis counter-attack without support (which would be weighted pro-axis, such as "To Blow or Not to Blow")... Though about 50% of the scenarios are weighted one way or another, I would not say any are 'walk-overs' or 'completely one sided'... In playtests we have determined (at least in two player mode) that either side could win all the scenarios...
As for 'Allied vs AI' there are about 4 scenarios where the AI is questionable in its performance (those with main axis offensive efforts)... but there is a 'experience bonus' table that was tested to make the games vs the AI as best they can be... As far as 'Axis vs AI' this option wasnt really persued as there are about 12 out of the 18 battles where the Axis is solely on defense (Though one day I might go through and playtest it this way... and maybe make some modifications to the battles, VL placement, etc. so that an Axis vs AI version could be played... but that is beyond the scope of my limited and martini fried brain at this point...)
Another way that might help...
There are a total of 123,688 total points (units) for both sides within the battle pack. with the allies having 57% of them... If one looks at Table 11 in the Rule Book on page 8, and compares the 'Major Victory' Pts Totals for each side, those within say 25% of each other are even battles (ex: 'Bloody St. Omer Cappelle" allies =8, axis=10).
Hope this sums up your question... and thank you for your interest, I hope you enjoy
That is all...
