They are already allowing preloads of it, this game promises to be be freakin awesome!

With the way Counter-Strike:Source turned out this game is going to be visually stunning..... just think about the custom maps/games that the modding community is going to release.....damn!

I did not say my opinion was unbiased, you my friend might not like the smallest of details about a game and become the creak in the floorboard that never goes away regarding your dislike of it.

I think I can say this freely, I FULLY understand that you don't like Counter-Strike:Source and of course anything associated with it as well, even THOUGH you have never seen nor played it ( it being: Day of Defeat ). Thats my kinda of judgement....BLIND :)

From what I can tell, the graphics are excellent, and definately up to par with CS:S.... I think the make or break point for the game will definately be gameplay, and I'll be very interested to see how the teambased/clanbased strategy will work out.....

Regardless of what topic (Counter-Strike or DoD) you bag on it like no other...
I just think it might be nice not to bash it as much as you do just because you don't like it. Your constant harping might make someone who is thinking about getting or playing the game the wrong impression. That is my whole point here, because no matter what type of post I try to make you always seem to not miss a beat bashing it.

I have indeed played Day of Defeat, so I think I can weigh my opinion on this game, just like I voiced my opinion with Counter-Strike because I had played the original and think that the CS:Source version is just freakin awesome! If history repeats itself DoD will visually and game play-wise blow me away!

If I make someone thnk twice about the game, then good. It deserves at least some forethought before laying out the kind of cash it costs. I believe I was sold an incredibly inferior product at a confiscatory rate. I am simply doing my civic duty. And yes, I am a little bitter.

***A little FYI***

Monday is the official release of DoD:Source.

If your going to order(Preorder)/download it I recommend you do it BEFORE monday as the servers will no doubtedly be over run with people downloading it at the last minute.

Today is the Day.....

All those interested in playing DoD:Source, we are going to have our own server thanks to GasX.

I have been having a blast playing on our server with the Usual Suspects...I would have to say that the =SL= Clan has pretty much decided to unofficially scrim against us almost every day. I think we're pretty much even matched against them ( We're like 2 heaveyweights trading punches ) I think we have a slight advantage when we scrim and I think we have a good/great group of guys including our newest recruit ( If I may be so bold, not sure if the proper paperwork has been delivered or not) Bulldog (AKA Mike)

Just wanted everyone to know that we now have 2 servers with which we can use to dealing out punishment : Ours as well as Bulldog's.

We played on Bulldog's last night because our server was dead...(no people)
