Check out the new WW2 Lock N Load game which looks very similar to ASL. I've heard great things about the Lock N Load system and these counters are beautiful.

This is one few places left to get the original Lock 'n Load (from Shrapnel Games) and at a pretty good price:

I tell you what -- I'll buy the WW2 Lock N Load game and we can give it a whirl at some gaming weekend at your house. I have trips planned in September and October but could probably sneak up there in November and drag Koz along. Maybe our fearless leader would drive down from Michigan?

I've been reading the Lock N Load forums and it seems to be an easy game to pick up and get right into. Sounds like a great beer and pretzel game.

Any cats at your place? Gotta ask b/c I'm deathly allergic!

I'll be a miserable hacking, wheezing POS within 2 hours -- maybe we can rendevous at Jim's? Do you have carpet or hardwood? Carpet is true death!

All right, we'll figure something out. I called the hobby shop on Friday and asked them to reserve me a copy. I'll give a full review once it comes in.

Other than our 2 sites, BoargameGeek.com is my favorite site on the web.
