i love PAT's roof mods, the "normandy" and "south european" tile roofs look awesome for italy. match them up with his building mods and they really look great.

Juju's "cobbledroad north africa" looks unbeliveable. it replaces the paved road and gives it a nice italian/african flair.

Mikey D has posted another batch of British Shermans at CMMODS. But some will be more interested in the new splash screens. One features a TIGER and another a Mark IV.

Also recently available on the CMBBs side of the house is a splash screen featuring a winter camo Panther.

While individual mods can enrich your CM gaming immersion, certain mod packages are available that can extend the scope of the game as released. This post will address what I consider to be the key mod packages for CMAK and where those packages can be found today.

The first and most important mod package is probably CMAK ETO. The purpose of this mod package is make CMAK an updated CMBO. While CMAK does not have all the units covered by CMBO (think King Tigers & others), it does an excellent job in achieving its purpose within the limitation imposed by CMAK. I have it installed as a stand alone version of CMAK, which also includes CM West (more on that later). CMAK ETO, which was assembled by David Inglett, is one of the view mod packages that has one easily accessed central place to download all of its pieces. That place is here:

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Mentioned above is CM West. This mod package, posted by Mark Ezra, allows you to fight the early war in Europe. It can be installed directly on top of you CMAK ETO. The result is that you have the western theater of the entire (or nearly so) war in the West in the same installed version of CMAK. CM West has no central web page, but its multiple parts can be found easily at CMMODS. You can start here (if your are already registered at CMMODS):

Finally, CM Normandy is another mod package assembled by David Inglett. This very specific mod package covering the first couple of months or so from D-Day forward in the West. In the past it had its own one stop web page, but unfortunately it is no longer available. You can get it in its component parts by searching "CM Normandy" at CMMODS.
