I heard about this game because of the stellar reviews it's gotten. It's a block game that is reminiscent (sp?) of Axis and Allies on Steroids (or World at War lite). What's really cool, is the rules and scenarios are available in PDF format for you to print off and read through prior to buying the game. I skimmed through them last night and this seems like an awesome Saturday all-day type game. Complex enough to give you plenty of strategic and tactical options but not crazy enough to kill you with rules.
Take a look at the rules -- very innovative. Plus this block system gives Fog of War (your opponent only sees your actual units and strength once they engage in combat) which I really like -- no more omniscient eye in the sky.
The only drawback is the game is wicked expensive -- $100, but I'm thinking about getting b/c it's simple enough that my boys can learn it one day pretty easily.
