This website is an awesome collection of user reviews/pics etc. relating to just about every board game you can think of. Registration is quick and painless and the reader reviews are very informative.

Also, I checked Russian Campaign and Fortress Berlin on this site and both had pages with user reviews, descriptions of components, and better yet, good scans of components.

This is the one and only WW2 board game I have. Almost all of the counters haven't even been punched.

I've heard that's a great game. It's very similar to Panzerkrieg which I loved to play back in the day:

I have that one too Frank, but it is a fairly recent puchase.

I still have my dog eared original AH Gettysburg, D-Day, Stalingrad, Midway and Guadalcanal from the mid to late 1960s.

I have D-Day too -- great beginner game! I loved playing it in my teens.

Sometimes you just gotta hit us over the head with it! Kind of like when you tell your wife/significant other something several times and she ignores it until she "discovers" it on her own -- then she thinks its fantastic because she "found" it even though you've mentioned it to her several times previously.
