I just picked up this game yesterday and had AGC help get me started. Man! This one is big. Lots of stuff here to absorb. Controlling natural resources, factory production, over-all industrial capacity. Building, modernizing and supporting armies. Diplomacy, etc,... Boy, talk about a strategy game!
Up to 10 people can Multiplay! You pick a country and enter WW2.
175 countries to chose from!!
Here is the link to the homepage-

It has a playable demo.
I picked it up for $34.99 at Best Buy

I love HOI2, it does have a high learning curve, but once you learn it you'll love it. The strategical possibilities are endless. It still has a few bugs they are working on, but paradox is know for their support of working on their games well after there release. Such as HOI 1 they were still patching it a year after its release. Ive bought and played all of their games, long time fan here.

Stuka; perhaps you, Clog and I could get a MP game going as the Axis.

If you MP this, please post your evaluation of the MP. The one major knock I heard on the game is that multiplayer is unwieldy with all of the plotting and pop up windows and the need to pause the game in multiplayer.

There are lot's of pop-uips in the beginning, but as your comfort level with the game and the flow of activities increases you can have many of those nasty pop-ups relegated to the events log. I only have the Tech, Battle, Diplomacy and Production notices on pop-ups anymore.
